Tactical Coffee has been using the Hario V60 Number 02 for our outdoor events since our inception. Why? Because it simple easy to use and creates a great cup of coffee.

The V60 is a popular brewing method among many coffee lovers, not just because of its elegant design and ease of use or that fact that it allows you to get close enough to smell your coffee as it brews, it is probably so loved because of its price. At only £6.99 for a V60 No1 and £6.49 for 100 filters you can’t really go wrong.  

The name comes from its shape ‘V’ and the 60-degree angles, the inner of the dripper has spiralling ridges that helps with airflow during the brewing.

To make a coffee you simply place the V60 over your favourite Tactical Coffee mug and place a filter inside the ‘V’ add one scoop of ground coffee per cup using the scoop provided.  The V60 can be used to brew one or two cups.

Gently pour hot water over the coffee grinds in a circular motion (we recommend using a goose neck kettle or pourer if you have one) The hot water seeps through the coffee grinds and is then filtered through the filter before dripping into your mug. The whole process takes 2-3 minutes.
